Child settings cannot be changed from the parent account

Some parents have discovered that changes apparently made to their child's settings don't stick. The parent may see the message ".... changed", but in reality the database is not updated with the change. 

Workaround: We believe this problem is due to a bug where a parent is offered to change Child settings for children over 13. When the child is over 13 the settings must be changed from the child account.

If you see this happening and the child is under 13, please use the Report a problem button in the Help center and send a Help request.

Example: "Password changed" - only it wasn't. The child was over 13 and the password was successfully changed later from the child's account.
