A number of users have reported that they are unable to complete these projects because of "spinning squares" or because the button for moving on is unresponsive. Here is what happens in many of those cases and how to get around it.
- The user inserts code with errors.
- OhNoes appears.
- The page is refreshed (Note: the user may not be aware that this has happened)
- The spinning squares appear along with OhNoes.
If you have trouble correcting the code because OhNoes get stuck too, try commenting out the code you've made changes to, line by line, and refreshing the page. For instructions about how to refresh the page, see below under Workaround.
- User corrects the code and is rewarded with the message
and OhNoes makes an exit - but the spinning square does not disappear
Result: pressing Next Step does not cause the next step to appear.
Workaround: Refresh the page by pressing the arrow next to the field for the url at the top of the page. You should now be sent to the next step.
