What are Khan Academy's content sponsorship principles?

Khan Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that receives philanthropic support for our mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.

Some of Khan Academy’s academic content is supported financially by donors, including foundations and corporations. This support allows us to create high-quality academic content that is available to learners around the world for free.

To acknowledge the vital support we receive from funders, we include sponsor recognition—including company logos—at the bottom of some content pages. Sponsor recognition does not include product promotions, links, or endorsements of any kind.

While donors may sponsor Khan Academy content, they have no editorial authority. Khan Academy is a non-political, non-commercial entity and maintains full editorial control of Khan Academy-owned content.
