The videos go on playing all through the menu

This is not a bug - it's a new feature! In your Settings there is now an option for Video autocontinue under "Basics". If you want to pause between videos, make sure the box is not ticked.

Settings for child accounts must be adjusted from the parent account.

We will try to update the article(s) about changing you child's Settings to reflect the new options soon.
