Step 1: There are many ways you can familiarize yourself with the student experience, but one of the best ways is to log in to your own Learning Home and explore the content there. You can even add yourself to your own class and create assignments to work through!
Step 2: Preview the on task banner experience! When learners are working within their personalized MAP placements, they’ll see an orange header on the course page (which they navigate to from their Learner Logged-In-Homepage, when they click one of the 4 RIT instructional area placements)
Note: The orange banner will ALSO show up on the header of any modals they open up in their personalized placements and if learners are not working on their MAP Placements, it will be the standard Khan Academy dark blue header.
Step 3: Think about how you would like to set-up a weekly or daily cadence for your classroom. When students know what to expect, they will be better prepared for the class.
Step 4: Preview the MAP Accelerator Progress page
Using the Progress page under MAP Accelerator, you can see how your students are progressing within their learning paths during a specific time period by:
- Looking at their percentage growth
- The number of skills leveled up
- The minutes spent
Step 5: Share MAP Accelerator with your students!
You’re ready to share MAP Accelerator with your students. Good luck!
